Over the last few years everyone involved in critical communications is aware that narrowband communication technology for critical communications will be replaced by broadband technology, such as 4G or 5G at a later stage. This change is now widely accepted.
However with this change, a huge gap has appeared between the ‘old’ PMR analog generation and a generation of young IT students that just left university.
It seems that the ARICA, the Australian Radio Industry Association, is pretty much aware of this gap and as a result of this, the association has taken action to bridge that gap.
