Mastercom has successfully interfaced the Avigilon Radio Alert system with powerful video management software to provide critical information and updates directly to two-way radio users.
“Video management data collected by leveraging advanced artificial intelligence and video analytics can now be integrated with two-way radios that offer exceptional voice quality to keep your workforce connected,” Mastercom Managing Director, Hamish Duff, said.
He explained the interface enabled users to receive and acknowledge Avigilon Control Centre (ACC) alarms from their MOTOTRBO radio systems, with alerts dispatched directly to their radios via text messages and/or text-to-voice alerts.
This provides security notifications without the need to monitor activity on a computer screen. It also allows security personnel to be on active patrol while confidently relying on artificial intelligence to monitor and inform them over radio of security of matters that require further investigation or immediate response.
