On Friday 19-21 June, Mastercom participated in the NSW Rural Fire Service Association’s (RFSA) biennial conference in Mudgee. This educational event brought together over 500 dedicated and motivated rural fire fighters from across NSW and was complemented by an innovative trade exhibition and equipment display.
The Mastercom team fronted by Andy Murray, was proud to showcase the latest digital radio technologies currently being used by the NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) including equipment from ICOM, GME, X10DR, Motorola Solutions, Codan and Tait. Mastercom is proud to hold a long standing relationship with the NSW RFS providing critical services and technologies to support command and control networks, operational command vehicles and fire ground networks.
The RFSA performs an important role in representing the views of all volunteer and staff members of the Rural Fire Service in NSW. They have the ability to directly influence such things as legislation, fire service structure, brigade funding, training, health and safety, and equipment standards. The RFSA works alongside the NSW RFS and other emergency response agencies to support government in the development of the Rural Fire Service in NSW.
